Busy busy busy..

Literally feel like I have no time to blog anymore, its depressing..

Soooo.. Being back at work has been MUCH harder than I thought it would be. After the first week I thought it would get easier. But the last 4 days have been terrible! The fact I hate it so much makes it drag even more, its just a viscious circle.

Whilst im at work my day consists of moaning/rude customers, staff bickering and an endless amount of boring jobs!! Ive now got three days off, but no doubt they will fly by. Some days when I leave both my boys are sleeping and they just look so snug and cosey, its horrible.

So much is happening at the moment, my life seems abit crazy. Hopefully when im in more of a routine it will be easier to leave this beautiful boy..

Eeeek!!!

Cant believe im actually saying this but, im pregnant with baby Phillips NUMBER 2!!! To say it was a shock is an understatement, it definitely wasnt planned, but I couldnt be happier! I havent even told my doctor yet and most of my family have only known a week. We werent going to announce it until after the 12 week scan, but Kieren got abit too excited last weekend after we went Shopping and looked at double buggies, he decided to tweet and then the word spread from there. Bless him!

My boss is the one person im finding it really difficult to tell, at the end of the year im going to leave for good. Ive been back at work 2 weeks now and all she keeps saying is how good it is to have me back. I just cant seem to find the right monent to break the news.

Im so excited and cant wait for the scans! But I dont want to wish any time away. I cant believe Jaydens almost 9 months old, time really does go so fast!

The time has come.. back to work!

So ive finally got the time to write down all my feelings. I started back at work after almost 10 months off for maternity leave. My first day, sunday, was literally the hardest day ever! Jayden woke about the same time as me (4.45am) and he just laid in his cot smiling and giggling. Made the thought of having to leave him even harder. Hes such a good boy!

The time to leave soon came around, so I kissed him and went off. The 8 and a half hours I was there went ridiculously slow. It was exhausting! I had completely forgot how tiring it actually is. I started at 6am and didnt have a break till 11 and hadnt eaten before work as I cant eat that early. I was starving and very emotional. I checked my phone and had the best message off my boys with a picture of Jayden. This cheered me up so much and got me through the next few hours. Half 2 came around and my boys were there to pick me up :) seeing Jaydens beautiful smiling face brought me instant joy.

I know its never going to be easy leaving him but its something ive got to do. Atleast the worst is over now.

What is the first thing you do when you wake up:?

Most days the first thing I do is feed Jayden. He wakes up between 5am-6am pretty much everyday so he is my wake up call. Once i've fed him I change his nappy and try put him back down for an hour or so. He doesnt always agree. LOL


Do you Shower Daily? Are you a Early Morning Shower or evening Bath type?

Luckily I dont like baths very much as they get cold too quickly for me, so I can never really relax in them. But I wouldnt have time really anyways. I shower daily, sometimes twice. Usually in the mornings unless I have work early, then i'd shower just before bed.


Do you wear Make Up Daily?

Yes I very rarely dont wear make-up. I feel much better once I have my face on.


Whats in your make up bag?

Theres quite alot in my make-up bag. Foundations, powder, bronzer, lipgloss, eyeliner, mascara and more.. I always experiment with different eye and lip make up, but I keep the same foundation throughout. I use rimmel, dream matte mousse or Mac, mineralize satin finish.


When your having a slummy Mummy day what do you normally wear?

When I'm having one of 'those days' I usually wear leggings or my 'comfy joggers' and one of my boyfriends hoodies. Nice and snug.


Nails - how often do you get them done?

I used to get them done alot, since having Jayden I havent had them done atall. I paint them weekly but they chip almost stright away, so they never look very good anymore.


Your top tip for Tired Eyes?

I dont have a top tip! If anyone has any I would love to know them LOL. I have continuous bags under my eyes now-a-days, even when Jayden has a good night hes still up very early.


Are you a Starbucks or Costa Coffee kind of girl?

NEITHER! eurgh I hate coffee! Although I love coffee cake LOL. Im a hot chocolate kinda girl, with cream and marshmellows.. YUM :)


How many Children do you have/want & why?

I have One child at the moment, but I cant wait to have more. I would like 3 of my own by about 26, and then after afew more years we want to look into fostering, we arent sure if we want to do permanent fostering or temporary yet.


Where is your favourite place to shop for Babies/Children's clothes?

I have a major obsession with baby gap at the moment! I love the clothes and they are so reasonably priced and there's almost always a sale going on. I also get alot of bits off ebay, mainly ralph lauren, if you shop around enough you can get some great bargains.


Flats or Heels Everyday shoes are?

Oh god! since having Jayden its flats all the way! I have so many shoes so I dont have a particular pair. I went out a couple of weeks ago with the girlies and wore heels, my feet still hate me now! I cant take it anymore, being a mummy is taken its tole on my feet. LOL.

Do the laundry

I generally try to do 1 load of washing a day, the time varies depending on my plans for the day. Theres six of us in the house at the moment so as you can imagine its never ending.


Write a blog post

I usually write my posts when little mans asleep, during nap times or in the evenings. But on a good day I can write at any time if Jaydens entertaining himself.


Look after yourself

Well some days this proves very difficult, but generally I get it all (make-up, hair and dressed) done pretty early as Jaydens happiest in the mornings so hes quite content just watching some cbeebies. I shower either in the evening when my partners home or when Jaydens napping.


Spend time with your other half

We try have a date night about once a month. My mum usually looks after Jayden, although we dont usually go out until hes asleep anyway. At the moment my partners on a training course with his work, so hes doing 2 weeks at college then 2 at work. When hes at work we dont see alot of each other during the week as he leaves at 6.30am and can get home as late as 8pm. But the other 2 weeks its lovely, hes home by about 4.30pm so we have all evening together. We try to do as many things at the weekends as possible, and we enjoy spending our evenings watching films and eating LOL. Im going back to work next week so we will have even less time together.


Spend time with your little one

Hes such a funny little character I would be crazy if I didnt spend as much time with him as possible, so I do. I take him to a playgroup on mondays, he loves being around over children, and we try to take him out as much as possible. I have a very close family, so we are always visiting people too.


Socialise with friends

I see some of my mummy friends once a week at playgroup and we visit my friend and her little girl weekly. I make sure I see my non-mummy friends aswell, and my best friend I see weekly too, we go for a drink or for a drive and a chat once a week.


Deep clean your house

Well at the moment, as we are living with my mum and brothers, the chores are spread out, but when we have our own place again I enjoy keeping the place clean so I do cleaning as and when it needs it.


Do the food shopping

Again, this gets done as and when it needs it really. My mum does the basics every couple of days and we do a bigger shop every few weeks.


Do bulk ironing

I dont do bulk ironing, most of our clothes dont need it and anything that does I just do it as and when we need it.
